As a SHEQ Advisor Compliance at Liquin, you will ensure that Liquin meets both internal and legal requirements and obligations in the areas of safety, health, environment, and quality. Process safety is at the heart of this role, making it your primary focus! Additionally, as a SHEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for leading or participating in various projects within the field.
Liquin’s terminals in the Botlek area comply with legal requirements and obligations concerning safety, health, environment, and quality. They have also developed their own guidelines. As a SHEQ Advisor Compliance, it is your core responsibility to adhere to both legal and internal requirements and obligations. You will also play a crucial role in applying for permits.
What you bring:
- Minimally, a completed higher vocational education (HBO) and preferably an academic level of thinking and working
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a Seveso III company, or relevant experience from an advisory position
- Solid knowledge of the applicable laws and regulations in the areas of safety, health, environment, and quality
- Knowledge of the Environmental Licensing (Wabo), Building Decree, Activities Decree, or willingness to undertake further training
- Strong command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written

- High passion for and awareness of safety
- A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to address (unsafe) behaviour among colleagues on the work floor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Your daily tasks:
- Providing advice and responding to questions from various stakeholders within the organisation
- Ensuring effective stakeholder management with the relevant authorities
- Providing input for projects (new builds and adjustments) and changes
- Supporting the preparation of and participation in annual Wabo audits and other external audits
- Identifying and researching current developments within the field
- Analysing (compliance) incidents and related statistics
