As an Operator at Liquin, you will be an essential part of our operational process. You will ensure the smooth loading of sea vessels, the pumping of products via pipelines, and the management of our tanks. Safety and environmental considerations are paramount. With your knowledge and precision, you will ensure our terminal operates efficiently and safely. Your tasks range from carrying out and monitoring operations to managing installations and performing cleaning activities. No two days are the same, and every day counts!
What you bring:
- Vocational education level (MBO 4), complemented by a completed Operator B qualification
- Knowledge of terminal installations, procedures, and working methods
- Strong focus on safety and the environment, with knowledge of relevant regulations
- Affinity with the characteristics of stored products and associated safety requirements
- Preferably additional certificates such as VCA, ADR, ADNR, and RID
- Willingness to continue your professional development through further training and courses
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Dutch and English
- A driving licence and own transport

Your daily tasks:
- Loading and unloading barges, wagons, and sea vessels according to established work methods
- Gauging, recording temperatures, and sampling storage tanks
- Pumping and receiving products via pipelines.
- Preparing equipment for maintenance and performing gas measurements
- Connecting and disconnecting hoses and pipe systems
- Administrative tasks and record-keeping
- Contributing to the management of our tanks and installations
- Emptying and cleaning tanks and pipelines
